In simple terms - this answer will always be a no. Hiring a photographer that you trust, are comfortable with & have a great time vibing during your session is important - but you also hired me because you also trust and like my artistic and editing style - meaning I will never give out unedited images for any use.

can we have the unedited images from our session?

Depending on the season, location & which session you book - these times vill vary. During winter months, session times will be early afternoon (between 12pm-3pm at the latest. During the summer months and endless sun - session times will be between 8pm-10pm. Unless otherwise scheduled, session times are 1-2 hours before sunset

what time will our session be?

After you book your session, you'll receive your onboarding email which contains a location guide with available location suggestions appropriate for your session & photograph beautifully! If you have another location in mind, please let me know & we can discuss details and make it happen!

how do we choose a location for our session?

Yes, let's do it! If you'd like to book a session, please complete the contact form - in which I will schedule a phone consultation with you (we can also meet in person!). After we chat, get to know each other, discuss how you envision your session & know all the details, I'll send off a proposal to you that has your payment & contract ready for you! To officially lock in your session date, a 50% retainer and signed contract is needed to book your session!

how do we book our session with you?

WELCOME!! I am so excited that your here! In the summer - get used to endless sunlight & feeling more energized, mosquitoes the size of a soda can, and ready to chase the sunset at 10pm at night. During the winter months, expect just as much love for Alaska, but with only a few hours of sunlight, extreme temps and of course, the snow. For both seasons, always dress appropriately, be ready to explore, make a new Alaskan friend and do all the winter things! Both seasons are amazing in their own ways - be sure to make the best of it!

it's our first visit to alaska...what can we expect?

Yes, and I love to do it! Travel is included with sessions within 2 hours of Fairbanks, Alaska, Any location more than 2 hours away will require a travel fee of $0.70 per mile (round trip) and will be invoiced to you! If you're looking to have your session out of state, please contact me for further details!

After your session, I will then deliver an unedited version of all the best images from your session. These images will be uploaded into a proof gallery for you to choose the images included in your session for me to fully edit and deliver the final images t oyou. *Believe me, if there's a good image, you'll see it! Once images are chosen, I will then get to work on editing your images!

how do we choose our images for our gallery?

Each kiddo is different! I try my best to get to know your child through your session questionnaire to connect with them. Their goal is to have fun & be themselves - I don't expect compliance or force during their session (smile, run around, have fun, smell a flower), however I do give them prompts and actions so they are still themselves genuinely while still documenting all the photos and details of who they are. Making them feel comfortable & welcomed without forced posing makes for a trusted time and a fun time for them!

how do you work with kiddos? what if mine do not"cooperate?"

As most Alaskans say, there's no bad weather, just bad clothing. Wintertime and Summertime in Alaska are drastically different (just in case you didn't know). One of my top priorities is keeping you safe before, during and after your session while traveling. If there is bad weather that imposes a safety hazard or photographic risk, I personally discuss this with you before moving forward with your session (for example, I won't reschedule every single time it snows outside, but I will if there is extreme ice, temperatures above -20 to -30 degrees, wind or a huge blizzard where you couldn't see yourself in your photos. Please dress appropriate for weather!

what if there's bad weather?

Your final gallery will be delievered within 3 weeks of your session (this can be sooner depending on the season!), I always try to have galleries back at the soonest possbile while making sure your gallery is to my editing standards before I send it off. Once your final gallery is delivered, you will be able to download, order prints and products, and share with family and friends!

when will we receive our final gallery?

Outfit changes can happen during your session! I do have a changing tent available - however sometimes a location isn't able to have it set up (during winter times mostly). While number of outfits depend on your session duration, I usually put a max of 3 outfits for time purposes unless discussed otherwise. Many Alaska locations do not have a changing area/bathroom, closed for seasons, etc, so you will need to be comfortable changing in your vehicle unless my changing tent is available!

how many outfits/locations can we have?

YES, YES & YES! Your pets are just as much a part of your family as any human family member. If you'd like to bring your pet to be a part of your session - let's do it! The usual pets are welcomed. I will say, however if you have a bearded dragon or a not-so traditional pet, let's chat about it to make sure its safe for everyone!
