Location & styling are probably two of the most important aspects of planning your session. With the location guide, you'll go over which North Carolina locations you're interested in (unless we're shooting out of state!) & love the most - & ultimately choose 1 that would be perfect for you! Styling: Whether you'd just want a little guidance along the way or would like me to full style everyone for your session, you'll receive a style questionnaire, schedule your fitting if you choose to wear something in my client closet, & get inspiration & an outfit board styled together to know which color/textures/patterns coordinate well together & get so excited for your wardrobe for your session!

IT'S SESSION DAY!! The day before, you'll get info on the exact location along with some final details & tips to remember for your session. Once we begin your session, get ready for some adventure, laughter, all the movement gazing stares at your favorite person, and loving on your family and spouse as I tell your story all together. We'll be still, we'll run around, walk around & enjoy the scenery as I guide you with fun prompts & actions. Don't worry, we'll get a few traditional shots too (everyone smiling & looking, even the dog!)

YOU SLAYED YOUR SESSION - now it's time to see the fruits of the memories created. I cull (meaning select the best images that are the BEST OF THE BEST), apply a general base edit to them with one image fully edited so you can see what they will look like. From there, they will be uploaded in to a watermarked gallery where you'll choose (and heart) every image that you'd like to have from your session. If the number selected is more than what your investment includes, you'll receive an invoice for the extra images. Once images are selected, I'll begin working my magic on your story to deliver your final gallery to you!

Once I begin editing your images, your final gallery will be delivered to you within 30 days! When your final gallery is delivered, you'll be able to download all the images you selected in high resolution, heart your favorite images & share your gallery with friends & family!

I cannot stress it enough how important it is to not only print your photos, but to create heirloom tangible moments from your favorite images. Don't let them stay digital locked away in your computer or phone! Order some framed prints, create an album, make a gallery wall in your home. Doesn't it sound wonderful when we're all old & grey and someone asks us "what was it like back then?" - and you pull out an album you've created 30 years ago and all the memories come flooding back to you like they were yesterday. Somehow, you can't ever remember why you forgot how little hands in yours felt. Instagram & Facebook aren't going to be around forever, but a good album with all your favorite memories will be.

It doesn't feel right with me after delivering galleries (I mean I can't control it all the time) that I just fall back off the radar, never to speak to you again. I've connected so much with you & your people, made such great memories & all the good things. If you've subscribed to my email list, I like to say hi to my past clients sometimes, give you updates on NC things happening that you might be interested in (like mini dates or limited sessions, model calls, etc.,) and still be real person that you can relate to (like juggling motherhood, giving you some of my favorite things, life updates, and more!

I make everything easy peasy as possible - so after our phone consult, I will send you an all in one proposal that has everything you need to book! It will include what's included in your session, the payment schedule, and contract to sign. A 50% non-refundable retainer and contract is needed to officially put your session date on my calendar. Your remaining balance is due on the day of your session!
Once everything is complete, I'll be sending you all the goods like your welcome & style guide, questionnaires, location guide & everything else needed to help plan your session!
I'm based in Fort Bragg/Fayetteville area, but I'm always up for traveling! I'm originally from the East Coast in Virginia - so I'm always down to travel up & down the coast, even further!
Biggest ones I'll travel to: South Carolina, Virginia, DC & Alaska. Separate travel fees will apply. View my about page to look at where I'm down to travel to! If you're wanting me to go somewhere new, let's chat and talk about it!
Travel is included for sessions located 2 hours or less of Fayetteville beginning with a one hour session. Any locations more than 2 hours away require a travel fee of $0.65 cents per mile
Unless otherwise scheduled between you and I, sessions take place 1-2 hours before sunset depending on the length of the session. The day before your session, I'll send out all session details including exact location & time that your session will begin!
*This also will depend on the light & location of the session as well, but I make sure to always keep you informed!
I always try to be as flexible as I possible can be, but if you need to reschedule your session, I'll give you my next available dates ASAP that we can have your session. Your retainer will be transferred to the new date (as well as your final payment if not paid already). Depending on the season, your date could be a few days or a few weeks.
You may reschedule your session the first time completely free - after that is a $100 reschedule fee.
Cancelling your session: If you need to completely cancel your session - no worries! I'll be a little sad of course but things happen! A cancellation contract will be sent & will need to be signed - once this is complete your contract will be void. Any retainer payments are non-refundable.
YES! What you wear during your session plays a huge part of the overall look and quality of your images. I offer a complimentary client closet filled with beautiful dresses that you are able to schedule an appointment to try on. Eventually, this client closet will include a variety for men & children as well.
You don't have to wear something from my client closet - but if you'd like me to style your wardrobe with you, let's do it! I send out a style questionnaire that will help you choose a color palette, offer suggestions & even buy items directly from your questionnaire! *Please note if you do this, allow a minimum of 2-4 weeks before your session so items can arrive on time.
I even send out style boards with everyone's outfit together - so you can see how well things coordinate & compliment each other & make changes if necessary. If you'd rather just choose your wardrobe yourself, please let me know what you'll be wearing within 1 week of your session as I may offer suggestions if needed!
I'm new to Fayetteville - but I am always location scouting to find the best locations to my clients. For your session, you'll receive a location guide with available locations that I know have great lighting, are appropriate for each session & photograph beautifully. These will range from open fields, adventure (think rolling hills or mountains outside of Fayetteville), great spots for lighting and movement, urban/downtown, and more!
If there's something different you'd like as a location - let me know and I'll either scout out some new spots & find something perfect for you!
YES, YES & YES!! Our pets are just as much a part of our family as any human family member. If you'd like to bring your dog, cat, heck even your cow - let's do it!
For dogs & cats - please make sure they are leashed! Bring their favorite treats for their session & have them sniff out the location before their session. In my experience, dogs tend to be calmer during sessions when they've had time to get some energy out - so take them for a good walk or play before your session begins.
You can either choose to have them in your images for specific parts of your session (like the first half) or you can choose for them to be included the whole entire time. Which ever you prefer!
As we plan your session, I stay on top of the weather as much as I can. Sometimes, last minute bad weather happens! I always prefer to have some sunshine during every session, but if there's less than ideal weather (including rain, high winds, storms, snow, etc.,) then I will contact you ASAP & suggest we reschedule your session. For extreme weather, sessions will automatically be rescheduled to the next immediate available date.
Sessions will automatically be rescheduled if:
50% chance or higher of rain (or actively pouring during your session)
20mph or higher winds
If it's actively snowing
Temperature - this will be dependent on the season & your comfort measures.
*If you'd rather have sunshine & glowy sunsets during your session, you may have a one time reschedule free of charge to the next available sunny date on my calendar.
After your session, I will then cull (choose all best images from your session that are in focus, have great emotion, moments, movement, etc.,). These images will then have a base edit applied, with at least one image fully edited to you can see the overall quality & how your final images will look.
These images will not be able to be downloaded & a watermark will be applied to every image in order to avoid people screenshotting images without permission until your final gallery is delivered.
These images will then be uploaded into your gallery for you to view & choose the number of images included in your session for me to fully edit & deliver the final images to you. You will have 2 weeks to select your images. If you'd like to purchase additional images, it's $35 per image or upgrade to have the whole entire gallery for $200. An additional invoice will be sent & have to be completed in order to receive any additional images.
Once you select your images for me to edit, I will then begin to edit all the images for final delivery. Your final gallery will be delivered to you within 30 days of you choosing your images. After it's delivered, you'll be able to download your high resolution images, order prints, & share your gallery with friends and family!
Yes! There is a high quality professional print lab & store available to order several beautiful print products in the shop directly through your gallery. Once ordered, I then make sure everything looks perfect before it gets sent to the print lab. Once it's shipped, it gets sent straight to you!

You will have a print release - meaning you can print from anywhere you'd like. I do not recommend anywhere such as Walmart, Walgreens, Costco or any department store printing lab as they do have have the appropriate printers needed.
If printing & order printing products from somewhere other than the shop in your gallery, I cannot guarantee the quality & same colors & am not held responsible for any loss of quality when printing from third party companies.

No - & I do not ever. The final image you will see in your gallery is the true representation of my work. The RAW images are just one step in the whole entire process. RAW files are huge, and take up lots of room on your computer, and most do not have the appropriate software to view them.
Besides - you've invested & trusted in me for your session not only for my experience, but my artistic experience, creative eye & style. With each image, I dedicate a lot time into editing to deliver amazing images to you - and giving anything less than the final image is something I will not do.
The only rare occurrence where I will only give out RAW images is to other photographers during their branding/headshot session if they wish to edit in their style instead.
